Tote UN-Blauhelm-Soldaten und Vertriebene: Eskaliert die Lage im Süden des Libanon?
Nach dem Tod von drei Blauhelm-Soldaten der UN-Mission Unifil im Südlibanon am Sonntag und Montag hat Indonesien die Einhaltung des humanitären Völkerrechts angemahnt.Die israelische Armee hat nach eigenen Angaben bei ihrem Einsatz im Süden des Libanon binnen 24 Stunden "Dutzende Terroristen" getötet. Diese seien bei Versuchen identifiziert worden, Soldaten von Verstecken aus anzugreifen. Es sei auch ein Kämpfer der libanesischen Hisbollah-Miliz festgenommen worden, der die israelischen Truppen beobachtet habe, hieß es weiter in der Mitteilung. Die Soldat:innen hätten im Südlibanon unter anderem Waffenlager, Kommandoposten und unterirdische Schächte zerstört.
Der Libanon wurde Anfang März in den Iran-Krieg hineingezogen. Damals feuerte die vom Iran unterstützte Hisbollah als Reaktion auf die Tötung des obersten iranischen Führers Ayatollah Ali Chamenei Raketen auf Israel ab.
