ENGLISH:«When We Die» is the lead single from British producer Tricky’s thirteenth studio album, «Ununiform», originally released in 2017. The track is notable primarily for marking a musical reunion with vocalist Martina Topley-Bird, one of his most iconic collaborators since his debut album «Maxinquaye» (1995).
The song explores acceptance and peace in the face of mortality. According to Tricky himself, it addresses the idea that “if you don’t accept death, then you don’t really accept life”.
