BOEING 747 DISAPPEARS in THICK CLOUDS AFTER DEPARTURE - B747 Takeoff in bad weather (4K)
This Boeing 747 of Challenge Cargo departed during awful weather conditions and seconds after its liftoff the aircraft dissappeared in the low hanging clouds. Also note the vortex effects above the wing shortly before entering the clouds. I filmed some cargo planes at Liege Airport that day and for about an hour the weather became very bad. Luckily it cleared up again after a while. My main reason why I went to Liege that day was an AN12 for Motor Sich which came in from Leipzig.Also check out the ASL B747-400 Freighter which landed almost with zero visibility. Bot airlines, Challenge Cargo and ASL Airlines have a homebase at Liege Airport and they operated several Boeing 747 Freighters out of Liege.
