La ragione perché siamo qui è senza dubbio per inaugurare un rapporto virtuoso con la sana alimentazione, quella frutto del lavoro dei nostri agricoltori, dei nostri pescatori, dei nostri trasformatori. Un lavoro di grande qualità che produce buon cibo all’interno di un’alimentazione corretta e che si abbina al nostro sistema sanitario. Noi dobbiamo riuscire a ridurre la spesa sanitaria, è un obiettivo che non può essere portato avanti con il taglio delle strutture sanitarie, ma con quello dei pazienti e per farlo bisogna riuscire a garantire corretta alimentazione ed educare all’alimentazione corretta. Prima questo avveniva in maniera molto importante all’interno delle famiglie ed ora accade sempre meno, anche per ragioni di tempo, e quindi bisogna recuperare attraverso luoghi di aggregazione, luoghi di contatto con questo tipo di modello e grande comunicazione. La candidatura della Cucina Italiana che ha avuto buon esito permette di implementare questa promozione del sano stile di vita anche legato al cibo e ovviamente utilizzare altri canali formativi tipo le scuole".
