Fraksi PDIP menegaskan prosedur PAW segera diajukan ke Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) seusai surat pemecatan resmi diterima.
Kabar ini dikonfirmasi oleh Ketua DPP PDIP Bidang Kehormatan, Komarudin Watubun seusai menerima laporan dari DPD PDIP Gorontalo, Sabtu (20/9).
Menurut Komarudin, setelah pemecatan, dalam waktu dekat akan segera dilakukan pergantian antar waktu (PAW) terhadap Wahyudin di DPRD Gorontalo.
"Dalam waktu dekat segera dilakukan PAW," katanya.
Penggantian ini dilakukan untuk menjaga etika dan wibawa DPRD serta kepercayaan publik.
Sebagai informasi, proses pergantian antarwaktu (PAW) anggota DPRD merujuk pada ketentuan Undang-Undang Susunan dan Kedudukan MPR, DPR, DPR dan DPRD (UU MD3) serta peraturan KPU terkait.
Setelah DPP PDIP menyerahkan surat pemecatan dan usulan PAW ke KPU dan DPRD Gorontalo, KPU akan melakukan verifikasi terhadap calon pengganti.
Selanjutnya, DPRD Gorontalo akan mengesahkan pengganti tersebut melalui rapat paripurna.
