Someone left a throwaway comment on the previous Solo GM Excision video to do it with no damage taken, and at first I didn't think anything of it. But it stuck with me, and later that day I started thinking about it where I realised it would be possible. I did some attempts today, and ended up getting the clear.
Basically it's spending the entire time running around invis, using Finality's Auger to deal with the big enemies in the first area, and then taking pot shots at the Tormentors in the next with Izanagi's Burden. Similar to the original strategy I used, but obviously taking a lot more caution as any damage is a wipe.
I wiped about 6-7 times in the first area, and 3 times in the Tormentors area. The biggest hurdle for this is enemies tracking you while invis, so you have to be very careful with when and where you fire at enemies. If you're out of invis for too long they'll most likely track you, so the best bet is to fire and immediately dodge to invis. Especially in the Tormentor section as the Minotaurs can aggro your location and the splash damage can be unavoidable. Similarly, the Tormentors can throw their ranged attack which track you through invis. That's why in the 3rd phase I took so long to take the final shots on the Tormentors, as I was worried about being out in the open and having a Minotaur immediately counter me. I was also extra worried about the Barrier Knights that spawn during the final DPS phase of the Witness, but luckily they didn't hit me here.
Either way, despite it not being hugely difficult (and mostly just running around invis the whole time), it is one of the first challenges I've really enjoyed in a while.
