Death toll in US‑Israel strikes on Iran rises to at least 787: Red Crescent
US and Israeli strikes have hit Iranian cities from Tehran to Qom, with Iran saying more than 150 urban areas have been targeted in hundreds of attacks since Saturday. The Assembly of Experts building in Qom was damaged, two hospitals in the capital were evacuated, and a deserted school was struck; officials say 170 people were killed at a girls’ school, most of them children. Iran has launched retaliatory strikes on US bases and oil facilities, denying civilian targets amid an ongoing escalation.Al Jazeera’s Mohamed Vall reports from Tehran, Iran.
