Iran targets UAE ports as missiles intercepted and evacuations ordered in Qatar

Iran has warned people to evacuate three major ports in the United Arab Emirates, saying that US military personnel are concealed in civilian facilities at Jebel Ali, Khalifa and Fujairah ports. Iranian media said the ports have become legitimate targets and attacks could come in the coming hours. The warning follows a fire at Fujairah port, a crucial oil hub that allows the UAE to export oil through the Gulf of Oman.

Meanwhile, Qatar's Ministry of Defence has confirmed missiles were intercepted over Doha overnight, with residents in Msheireb and Education City ordered to seek shelter. The scale and frequency of these evacuations mark an escalation for the Qatari capital.
