(LaPresse) La premier Giorgia Mleoni, nel suo discorso al Senato in merito agli sviluppi della crisi in Medioriente, in vista del Consiglio europeo del 19 e 20 marzo, ha anche trattato il tema dell'aumento dei prezzi del carburante. «Stiamo dedicando la massima attenzione alle possibili ricadute economiche di questa crisi. Abbiamo predisposto tutti gli strumenti di monitoraggio sull'andamento dei prezzi e il contrasto a eventuali fenomeni speculativi», ha dichiarato Meloni. «In particolare sui carburanti – ha aggiunto - stiamo valutando anche di attivare il meccanismo delle cosiddette accise mobili, che questo governo ha reso più efficace con il provvedimento sui carburanti del 2023. La sua attivazione è tra le contromisure che siamo pronti a prendere».
La presidente del Consiglio, ha anche lanciato un avviso: «Riguardo l'attuale aumento dei prezzi dei carburanti, il messaggio che voglio dare agli italiani ma anche a chi dovesse pensare di sfruttare questa situazione per arricchirsi sulla pelle dei cittadini e delle imprese è: consiglio prudenza. Perché faremo tutto quello che possiamo per impedire che si speculi sulla crisi compreso se necessario recuperare i proventi della speculazione con una maggiore tassazione delle aziende che ne fossero responsabili».
