L’Assemblée législative de Transition (ALT) a adopté à l’unanimité, le lundi 1er septembre 2025, un nouveau Code des personnes et de la famille (CPF), marquant une réforme majeure du droit familial burkinabè plus de trente ans après l’ancien texte.Composé de 1 113 articles répartis en 17 titres et 56 chapitres, ce code modernise le cadre juridique de la famille tout en intégrant les réalités sociales, culturelles et économiques du pays.
Le ministre de la Justice, Me Edasso Rodrigue Bayala, a salué « une réforme historique » qui allie innovation juridique, respect des valeurs culturelles et volonté de bâtir une famille burkinabè plus juste et solidaire.
