TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Setelah resmi dikeluarkan dari keanggotaan PDI Perjuangan, nama Presiden ke-7 Republik Indonesia, Joko Widodo, mulai santer disebut-sebut dalam bursa calon ketua umum sejumlah partai politik.
Salah satu partai yang dikabarkan melirik Jokowi adalah Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP).
Menanggapi hal tersebut, Jokowi menilai banyak kader PPP yang lebih layak untuk memimpin partai berlambang Ka'bah itu.
"Yang di PPP saya kira banyak calon-calon ketua umum yang jauh lebih baik, yang punya kapasitas, kapabilitas, punya kompetensi. Banyak calon yang dipilih, banyak sekali,” ujar Jokowi kepada awak media, Jumat (6/6/2025).
Jokowi pun menegaskan dirinya masih memilih untuk tetap berada di Partai Solidaritas Indonesia (PSI), meski belum ada pencalonan resmi terhadap dirinya sebagai ketua umum di partai tersebut.
“Saya di PSI saja lah,” ujarnya.
