Each and every one of us has had dreams—dreams that reach for the stars. The same goes for our speaker, Nhat. Reflecting on a family trip to the U.S. in 2022, Nhat recounts meeting affluent relatives for the first time and being dazzled by their opulent lifestyles. Inspired by their success, Nhat aspired to become a doctor. Despite the path he set for himself, He soon discovers flaws in his dreams. In “Why bother dreaming, when that dream is not yours”, Nhat challenges himself and the audience to reflect on their own aspirations. Are their dreams truly theirs, or are they influenced by societal norms and the pursuit of wealth? Nhat is an extraordinary student who co-founded Wellspring’s BioSpaZe Club and serves as the Designer for the RainbowSpring Volunteer Club. He is an excellent scholar who has participated in various academic competitions, including Flinders Global Voices, the World Scholar's Cup (WSC), and Wellspring Debate Society, the Wellspring SpeakUp Competition, etc... Overall, Nhat is a gifted individual who puts in tremendous effort and has achieved numerous remarkable accomplishments.
