La Asamblea de Expertos de Irán anunció que Mojtaba Jameneí fue elegido como el nuevo líder supremo del país.El ayatolá Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Jameneí fue nombrado y presentado como el tercer líder del sistema sagrado de la República Islámica de Irán en una sesión extraordinaria celebrada el domingo. Tras el anuncio, el Cuerpo de Guardianes de la Revolución Islámica le juró lealtad de inmediato y expresó su disposición a seguir sus instrucciones.
