Krisenherd, Bedrohung, Fundamentalismus. Die Assoziationen die wir mit dem Iran haben, sind selten positiv. Dabei wird diese Einseitige Betrachtung dem ehemaligen Persien nicht gerecht. Das Land war über Jahrhunderte der Spielball fremder Nationen. Die USA, die Sowjetunion, Großbritannien und Deutschland sind nur einige Beispiele für ehemalige Nutznießer. Aktuell liegt die USS Abraham Lincoln im arabischen Golf, bereit ein neues Kapitel für den Iran zu öffnen.Noch vor wenigen Jahrzehnten liefen Frauen im Minirock durch Teheran, heute erreichen uns Meldungen von Gewalt gegenüber allen, die ihr Kopftuch nicht Scharia-Konform binden. Die Konflikte spitzen sich zu, sodass nun sogar US-Militär mit scharfgestellten Raketenwerfern im Golf von Persien auf den Befehl zum Angriff wartet. Donald Trump und die Vertreter von Ayatollah Khamenei liefern sich bereits über Social Media ein erbittertes Wortgefecht.
Währenddessen fragen wir uns: Wann ist das alles vorbei? Wird es eine weiter Eskalation geben? Was muss passieren, damit das Regime fällt? Und die wichtigste Frage von allen: Wann ist der Iran endlich frei? Schauen wir’s uns an…
