Die Mehrheit der US-Amerikaner ist aktuell mit seiner Donald Trumps Arbeit als Präsident unzufrieden. Gleichzeitig blieb sowohl im Iran als auch in der Ukraine das schnelle Kriegsende aus, das Trump prophezeit hatte.Noch halten die Republikaner die Mehrheit im Repräsentantenhaus und im Senat, den beiden Kammern des US-Parlaments. Doch das könnte nach den Zwischenwahlen vorbei sein. Beobachtern zufolge könnte mindestens das Repräsentantenhaus an die Demokraten gehen. Trumps Einfluss auf die US-Politik würde damit geringer werden.
Wie ist die zweite Amtszeit von US-Präsident Trump insgesamt zu bewerten? Steht das Ende der Ära Trump bevor? Was heißt das für andere rechtspopulistische Bewegungen weltweit? Und welche Folgen haben die US-Zwischenwahlen für Deutschland und die Welt?
