Ojol Jakut Pilih Fokus Cari Nafkah saat Asosiasi Garda Indonesia akan Gelar Demo Pencopotan Menhub

TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Asosiasi pengemudi ojek online (ojol) disebut-sebut akan menggelar demo akbar di Jakarta pada Rabu (17/9).

Sejumlah massa akan bergerak ke tiga titik, diantaranya Kantor Kementrian Perhubungan, Gedung DPR, hingga Istana Presiden.

Akan tetapi tak semua driver yang akan turun dalam aksi demonstrasi kali ini.

Anggota ojol di Jakarta Utara (Jakut) memilih untuk fokus mencari nafkah dibandingkan mengikuti aksi demonstrasi hari ini.

Menurut Ketua Koordinator Wilayah (Korwil) Ojol di Jakut, Mansyur, sekitar 2.000 anggota komunitasnya tak akan mengikuti demo ojol "179".

Ia juga mengaku menolak ajakan Ketua Umum Garda Indonesia, Raden Igun Wicaksono yang meminta driver melakukan off bid massal.

Pasalnya menurut Mansyur masih banyak pengemudi lain yang harus memenuhi kebutuhan hidup keluarganya.

Kendati demikian, ia menyebut bahwa komunitasnya tetap menghargai dan mendukung semangat rekan-rekan ojol yang memilih untuk turutn ke jalan untuk menyuarakan suara dan tuntutan.

Sementara itu di pihak lain, sebagian ojol yang tidak turun demo hari ini memutuskan untuk berhenti beroperasi sementara sebagai bentuk solidaritas terhadap unjuk rasa asosiasi.

Ada pun diketahui sebelumnya, aksi demonstrasi kali ini berisi sejumlah tuntutan yang satu diantaranya adalah pencopotan Menteri Perhubungan (Menhub) Dudy Purwaghandi oleh Presiden Prabowo.

Hal itu lantaran Garda Indonesia menilai selama Dudy menjabat sebagai Menhub, asosiasi ojol mengalami banyak kemunduran.

Menhub dinilai lebih mementingkan kesejahteraan perusahaan aplikator transportasi dibanding dengan para pengemudi.
