'Dictatorship, Brutality…': India Tears Into Pakistan Over Kashmir Remarks at UN | FP Video

India has strongly criticised Pakistan at the United Nations over its remarks on Jammu and Kashmir, exposing Islamabad for misusing the global platform to spread lies and falsehoods. Speaking during the UN General Assembly's Fourth Committee session on decolonisation, Indian MP Mahima Kumari Mewar called out Pakistan's record of military dictatorships and state-sponsored terrorism. She also called out Pakistani armed forces and their proxies for killing innocent civilians demanding basic rights and freedoms. Mewar urged Pakistan to stop 'preaching homilies' at the UN and called on Islamabad to end human rights violations in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Reaffirming India's position, she said Jammu and Kashmir would always remain an integral and inalienable part of India. Mewar is part of a 15-member parliamentary delegation visiting New York for a UN familiarisation programme.
