Les États-Unis ont discrètement commencé à déplacer une partie de leurs personnels militaires depuis la base aérienne d’Al Udeid, au Qatar, la plus grande base américaine du Moyen-Orient. Présenté comme une simple mesure “technique”, ce retrait partiel intervient pourtant dans un contexte régional explosif, marqué par une montée des tensions avec l’Iran.Dans le même temps, Washington ordonne à tous ses ressortissants de quitter immédiatement l’Iran, évoquant des manifestations massives, des risques d’arrestations, des coupures d’internet et un danger sécuritaire extrême. Plusieurs pays occidentaux émettent des alertes similaires.
