Aufgewachsen in Hamburg als Tochter zweier Ärzte, Bachelor-Abschluss in Geografie – doch der Büro-Alltag war nichts für sie. Johanna wollte anpacken, im Team arbeiten und am Ende des Tages sehen, was sie mit eigenen Händen geschaffen hat. Heute macht sie eine Ausbildung zur Zimmerin.
Ein mutiger Schritt, der nicht ohne Hürden war. Viele Betriebe lehnten die Frau im Handwerk ab, selbst ihr heutiger Chef war anfangs skeptisch. Mittlerweile ist Johanna im zweiten Lehrjahr auf dem Bau. Sie wird immer wieder mit Sexismus konfrontiert und muss sich dumme Sprüche wie "Puppe" von Fremdfirmen anhören. Doch Johanna gibt Kontra und zeigt echtes Durchhaltevermögen, egal ob auf dem Gerüst oder beim Feldhockey im Verein.
Johanna steht für einen großen Trend: Immer mehr junge Menschen entscheiden sich trotz Abitur oder Studium bewusst für das Handwerk. Eine ungeschönte Reportage über den Mut, den perfekten Lebenslauf hinzuwerfen, um etwas zu bauen, das bleibt.
