Flammen-Inferno in Putins Geburtsstadt: Lagerhallen-Brand in Sankt PetersburgIn St. Petersburg steht ein riesiges Lagergelände in Flammen. Videoaufnahmen aus sozialen Netzwerken sollen die Folgen möglicher ukrainischer Drohnenangriffe zeigen. Nach Angaben des russischen Katastrophenschutzes breitet sich das Feuer über eine Fläche von bis zu 82.000 Quadratmetern aus. In dem Lager sollen unter anderem Papier- und Kunststoffmaterialien lagern. Verletzte wurden zunächst nicht gemeldet. Russische Behörden bestätigen bislang weder einen Drohnenangriff noch einen Zusammenhang mit dem Krieg gegen die Ukraine. Lagerarbeiter berichten dagegen von einer möglichen Drohnenattacke. Die Ursache des Großbrandes ist weiterhin unklar.
