Filmde, dolandırıcıların tuzağına düşmüş bir adamın mücadelesi anlatılır. Cahit, kendi halinde bir adamdır. Nermin’le kurdukları mutlu bir yuvaları, iki çocukları vardır. Evle iş arasında mütevazı bir hayat yaşar. Çalıştığı firmanın bir işi için vapurla İstanbul’dan Antalya’ya gitmesi istenir. Bir çanta dolusu parayla yola çıkar. Ancak ona tahsis edilen kamarayı bir kadınla paylaşması gerekmektedir. Ne kadar uzak durmaya çalışsa da kadının güzelliğinden etkilenmiştir. Üstelik Ayla yalnız kalmış bir kadındır. Cahit, trajik hikâyesini dinlediği kadına karşı şefkat duymaya başlamıştır. Ancak iyi niyeti başına büyük işler açacaktır.
