Surat tersebut berkop Ditjen Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah, Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan tertanggal 6 Agustus 2019.
Isi surat menyatakan bahwa Gibran Rakabuming Raka telah menyelesaikan pendidikan Grade 12 di UTS Insearch Sydney, Australia.
Surat bertanda tangan dirjen itu menyebut bahwa Gibran dianggap memiliki pengetahuan setara tamat Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) peminatan Akutansi dan Keuangan di Indonesia.
Belum ada konfirmasi lebih lanjut dari kementerian terkait soal beredarnya surat keterangan tersebut.
