Tulsi Gabbard is resigning as DNI, Trump’s 4th Cabinet departure

Tulsi Gabbard is resigning from her role as director of national intelligence.

Her last day is expected to be June 30.

Gabbard is leaving her position due to her husband's rare cancer diagnosis.

"Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026," Gabbard wrote in her formal resignation letter which was obtained by FOX. "My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer."

Gabbard’s departure marks the fourth member of Trump’s Cabinet to leave during his second term. (Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer)
