Juru bicara TPNPB-OPM Sebby Sambom mengatakan pihaknya menargetkan pesawat tersebut ketika dua menteri itu mendarat di Papua.
Pihaknya menargetkan pesawat tersebut karena sebelumnya pernah mengantarkan Panglima Kogabwilhan III Letjen Bambang Trisnohadi dan pasukan.
Sebby mengatakan pesawat tersebut telah memasuki wilayah yang menurutnya merupakan zona perang.
Ancaman itu disampaikan Sebby pada Sabtu (7/6).
“Pesawat sipil dengan nomor penerbangan PK-ELM Elang Nusantara Air yang diterbangkan dari Timika ke Nduga, ditetapkan sebagai DPO oleh TPNPB-OPM,” katanya.
Meski diancam OPM, kunjungan menteri Sri Mulyani dan Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin tetap dilakukan.
Kedua menteri tersebut memakai rompi anti peluru untuk melindungi diri di area rawan konflik tersebut.
Mereka juga dikawal ketat oleh personel gabungan TNI-Polri. (Tribun-Video.com/Kompas.com)
