Pasalnya muncul isu yang menyebut bahwa Roni dicopot gara-gara dirinya menegur anak Wali Kota Prabumulih yang membawa mobil ke sekolah.
Terkait pencopotan Roni, muncul video perpisahan antara dirinya dengan para siswa SMPN 1 Prabumulih.
Dalam video tersebut, tampak Roni yang menangis haru sembari menyalami para siswa.
Kabar soal pencopotan Roni Ardiansyah kemudian ditanggapi oleh Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) Prabumulih, A Darmadi.
Darmadi saat dikonfirmasi membantah isu yang beredar di media sosial.
Menurut Darmadi, pencopotan Roni sebagai Kepala SMPN 1 Prabumulih karena sejumlah hal.
Satu di antaranya soal oknum guru yang melakukan chat mesum kepada siswi SMP tersebut.
Lebih lanjut dikatakan oleh Darmadi bahwa dirinya tak mau mengungkap lebih banyak mengenai alasan pencopotan karena masalah aib.
Adapun Roni akan dimutasi ke SMP Negeri 13 Prabumulih sebagai guru di bidangnya.
Sedangkan posisi Kepala SMPN 1 Prabumulih akan diisi oleh Kusno sebagai pelaksana tugas.
