Tra i 27 stati membri, comunque, resta indecisione su quale linea adottare nei confronti degli Usa. "La Francia che preme per i controdazi resta isolata - ha commentato Polato -. Il fatto che la Commissione e il commissario Sefcovic continuino nelle trattative con gli Stati Uniti ci permette di portare avanti gli interessi dell'Europa. Una guerra commerciale - ha concluso - non conviene a nessuno, soprattutto per un paese come l'Italia con le sue esportazioni.
