El Banco Mundial prevé un crecimiento mundial del 2,5 % en 2026
El Banco Mundial ha advertido de que las repercusiones económicas de la guerra entre Estados Unidos contra Irán reducirán el crecimiento mundial a su nivel más bajo desde la pandemia de COVID-19.El organismo prevé ahora un crecimiento de solo el 2,5 % para 2026 y advierte de que, si las interrupciones en el suministro energético se agravan junto con las tensiones en los mercados financieros, el crecimiento podría ralentizarse hasta alcanzar un mínimo del 1,3 %. En ese sentido, mantuvo su pronóstico para 2026 para la economía de EE. UU. en un 2,2 %, aunque se espera que el crecimiento se reduzca a un 2,1 % en 2027 y a un 2 % en 2028.
En lo que respecta a China, el pronóstico de crecimiento se ha reducido a un 4,2 % en 2026, una revisión a la baja de 0,2 puntos porcentuales en relación con su pronóstico de enero.
El Banco Mundial también aseguró que algunos países están siendo los más afectados, y que muchos terminarán el año en una situación más precaria que antes de la pandemia, por lo que considera dentro de sus planes brindar apoyo financiero de ser necesario. #EEUU #Irán #China #DM #xw
