How Operation Sindoor Boosted India's Defence Exports | Vantage on Firstpost | N18G

Operation Sindoor marked a major shift in India’s defence profile after New Delhi launched precision strikes following the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. One year later, countries are showing growing interest in Indian-made weapons systems used during the operation, including the BrahMos missile, Akash air defence system, anti-drone platforms and loitering munitions. India’s defence exports reached nearly 39,000 crore rupees in 2025-26, a rise of more than 62% in one year. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said global confidence in India’s indigenous defence systems has increased following the operation.
