Gedung yang dihancurkan oleh Israel itu menjadi tempat berlindung bagi para pengungsi Palestina.
Dari laporan Anadolu Agency, pengeboman dilakukan seusai Israel memerintahkan warga yang ada di area tersebut untuk mengungsi.
Menara Mekkah ini terletak di area Rimal, yang ada di wilayah barat Kota Gaza, yang dilanda serangan udara dan serangan darat militer Israel baru-baru ini.
Kepulan asap terlihat menjulang di lokasi serangan.
Gedung bertingkat itu hancur lebih kena hantaman serangan Israel.
Tampak dalam sebuah rekaman, gedung pencakar langit itu hancur dan roboh ke tanah.
Gedung bertingkat itu sebelumnya menampung ratusan keluarga Palestina yang mengungsi akibat perang, dengan ratusan tenda yang menampung warga sipil.
Sampai saat ini, belum diketahui berapa jumlah kotban jiwa akibat pengeboman tersebut.
Pengeboman terhadap Menara Mekkah itu terjadi tak lama setelah militer Israel memperingatkan warga di area tersebut untuk mengungsi dan bergerak ke area al-Mawasi di Jalur Gaza bagian selatan.
Area Al-Mawasi sendiri berulang kali diserang oleh militer Israel hingga menyebabkan ratusan kematian.
Serangan ini menuai kecaman lantaran dinilai pejabat Palestina sebagai upaya menggusur paksa warga Gaza dari rumahnya. (Tribun-Video.com)
