En forme de thriller, retour sur une saga judiciaire hors norme entre le milliardaire russe Dmitry Rybolovlev et le marchand d’art suisse Yves Bouvier, accusé d’avoir orchestré la plus grande fraude artistique du XXIe siècle. Dernier épisode : poursuivi pour escroquerie par Dmitri Rybolovlev, Yves Bouvier est libéré sous caution pour un montant d’un milliard de francs suisses.
Visé par plusieurs procédures à travers le monde – à Monaco, en France, à Singapour ou encore aux États-Unis –, le marchand d’art, fragilisé, organise sa défense et prépare une contre-offensive. En 2017, la vente du Salvator Mundi de Léonard de Vinci chez Christie’s, pour 450 millions de dollars, rebat les cartes du dossier. Au terme de neuf ans de conflit, les deux parties finissent par conclure un accord confidentiel fin 2023. Yves Bouvier n’a été condamné devant aucun tribunal.
