One UI 8.5 will officially come with the launch of Galaxy S26 series end of January 2026.
It will then roll out to the Galaxy S25 series and then on to the Fold 7, Flip 7 and so on.
Which devices will One UI 8.5 roll out to?
Depending on the upgrade cycles left on your smartphone, your Samsung phone might be eligible for the upgrade. Certain conditions:
1. The more recent Samsung phones will receive the update sooner than the older Samsung phones.
2. Not all Samsung phones will receive the update at the same time.
3. Not all One UI 8.5 features will be available on all Samsung smartphones that receive the update. Some might require additional hardware capabilities.
