Italia, spariti 156.000 negozi: il commercio italiano cambia volto (e non è un caso)

L’ultimo report della #Confcommercio evidenzia un allarmante fenomeno di cui voglio parlare oggi: la desertificazione commerciale in Italia.

Pensate che tra il 2012 e il 2025 sono scomparsi in Italia oltre 156.000 negozi al dettaglio, circa un quarto del totale nazionale: abbiamo perso circa un quarto dei negozi al dettaglio. I settori più colpiti sono state le edicole, quasi dimezzate, e l’abbigliamento, messi in crisi dall’esplosione dell’e-commerce, il cui valore è quasi triplicato.

Il Nord Italia soffre maggiormente, mentre i centri storici cambiano volto trasformandosi in hub turistici: i bed and breakfast sono quasi triplicati, affiancati da una forte crescita di ristoranti e farmacie. Un dato significativo riguarda poi l’imprenditoria straniera, che con 134.000 nuove attività ha parzialmente contenuto il crollo delle imprese italiane.
