El miércoles se celebró una reunión en Beijing con motivo del 70º aniversario de la fundación del Diario del Ejército Popular de Liberación (EPL) de China, el 1 de enero de 1956.El presidente chino, Xi Jinping, envió una carta de felicitación en la que señaló que, durante las últimas siete décadas, el Diario del EPL ha hecho contribuciones significativas para mantener las buenas tradiciones del Partido Comunista de China y las fuerzas armadas, nutrir generaciones de oficiales y soldados revolucionarios y apoyar el desarrollo de las fuerzas armadas populares.
