To change the installation date of an application in Windows 10, you will need to edit the specific program's registry keys, as there is no built-in "change date" button. You can do this by converting your desired date to a Unix timestamp and modifying the registry. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Step-by-Step Guide

Find the Unix Timestamp for your desired date: Use an Epoch Converter to convert your target date and time into a Unix/Epoch timestamp (a large sequence of numbers).

Open the Registry Editor: Press Win + R, type regedit, and hit Enter. [5]

Locate the Application's Registry Key:
For standard desktop programs: Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall (or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall).

Click through the subfolders (which may be names or GUIDs) until you find the folder containing the name of your app. [3, 4, 6]

Modify the InstallDate:
On the right-hand side, look for the InstallDate or InstallTime string or DWORD.
Right-click, select Modify, and change the value to the Decimal value of your Unix timestamp. [3, 4, 5]

Restart Windows Explorer: To apply the change, open the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), find Windows Explorer in the processes list, right-click it, and select Restart. [7, 8]

If you would like, let me know:
Is the app you are trying to change a desktop program (.exe) or a Microsoft Store app?
Are you trying to change the date for the entire Windows Operating System itself?
I can provide more specific registry paths tailored to your exact needs.
