Alerta roja en España con 7 muertos tras 14 incendios que arrasan 158.000 hectáreas

España entra en su tercera semana de alertas por ola de calor. Al menos 14 grandes incendios han dejado 7 fallecidos. El fuego avanza en zonas del noroeste y oeste del país. Unos 3.500 efectivos han sido desplegados en todo el territorio, tras la petición de ayuda de los gobiernos regionales.
El presidente del Gobierno, Pedro Sánchez, encabezó una reunión de coordinación para hacer frente a la emergencia, a la vez que Francia e Italia enviaron aviones cisterna para reforzar la respuesta contra los incendios.

Varias provincias se encuentran bajo alerta roja, con temperaturas en el sur que superarán los 40 grados. La Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (Aemet) advierte de riesgo muy alto o extremo de incendios en gran parte del país. En lo que va de año, unas 158.000 hectáreas han sido reducidas a cenizas, casi el doble del promedio anual registrado entre 2006 y 2024. #España #Ecología #xw
