Sopyah Pekerja Kuli Bangunan yang Viral, Kini Dapat Hadiah Rumah dan Pekerjaan dari Bupati Indramayu

Kini ia mendapatkan bantuan berupa tempat tinggal dan pekerjaan tetap dari Pemerintah Kabupaten Indramayu.
Sopyah dikenal publik sejak tahun 2024 setelah kisah perjuangannya mencari nafkah untuk sang adik mencuat ke media sosial.
Ia bahkan sempat tinggal di atas lahan kuburan di Kelurahan Lemahmekar, Kabupaten Indramayu.
Setahun setelah kisahnya menyebar luas, Bupati Indramayu, Lucky Hakim, memberikan perhatian khusus kepada Sopyah.
Ia menyerahkan sebuah rumah kontrakan yang lebih layak untuk ditinggali bersama adiknya.
Serta menugaskan Sopyah sebagai petugas kebersihan di PT Bumi Wiralodra Indramayu (BWI), sebuah Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) milik Pemkab Indramayu.
"Hari ini kita berkunjung langsung ke rumah Sopyah, kita tempatkan di rumah yang lebih layak dan sehat agar bisa lebih nyaman," kata Lucky Hakim kepada TribunCirebon.com, Selasa (2/5/2025).
