Pelabuhan Ketapang Macet Imbas Pembatasan Jumlah Kapal Penyeberangan | SAPA PAGI
KOMPAS.TV - Kemacetan panjang terjadi di Pelabuhan Ketapang, Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur.Kemacetan terjadi setelah jumlah kapal yang melayani penyeberangan dari Ketapang ke Gilimanuk dikurangi, pasca-tenggelamnya KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya di Selat Bali.
Rata-rata truk tronton harus menunggu lama sebelum diizinkan naik kapal.
Truk dengan muatan di atas 35 ton wajib naik kapal jenis LCM.
Namun, dari sembilan kapal yang biasanya beroperasi hingga Jumat sore hanya enam kapal yang diizinkan berlayar.
Berbeda dengan truk di bawah 35 ton atau kendaraan pribadi yang bisa langsung menyeberang tanpa menunggu lama melalui dermaga Pelabuhan Ketapang.
Pihak pelabuhan menyatakan akan ada penambahan armada kapal LCM dalam waktu dekat untuk mengurai antrean, dan memulihkan lalu lintas penyeberangan JawaBali seperti sediakala.
Situasi ini diperkirakan akan terus berlanjut, hingga semua armada dinyatakan layak berlayar kembali.
