Im Rahmen einer gemeinsamen Pressekonferenz präsentierten heute FPÖ-Generalsekretär Michael Schnedlitz, die FPÖ-Seniorensprecherin Andrea Michaela Schartel und der Initiator DDr. Friedrich Kinzlbauer das „Pensionisten-Volksbegehren“. Man ist zusammengekommen, um zur Notwehr gegen ein System anzusetzen, das die gesamte Familie Österreich ausnutzt.

Der Lebensleistungsvertrag wurde gebrochen. Man hat unseren Eltern und Großeltern erzählt: Steh früh auf, geh fleißig in die Arbeit, zahl brav deine Steuern und deine Sozialversicherungsbeiträge und dann wird im Alter gut für dich gesorgt. Das war ein Vertrag. Und heute sehen wir, dass dieser Vertrag in der Realität so nicht mehr existent ist, dass die Einheitspartei aus ÖVP, SPÖ und Co. diesen Vertrag schleichend zerrissen hat.
