Konser bertabur bintang untuk menggalang dana bagi Palestina digelar Stadion Wembley Arena di London, Inggris, Rabu (17/9).Konser bertema Together For Palestine ini merupakan konser penggalangan dana untuk Palestina yang terbesar. Benedict Cumberbatch tampil membacakan puisi karya penyair Palestina Mahmoud Darwis.
Jurnalis Amerika, Mehdi Hasan, berbicara tentang ratusan jurnalis Palestina yang terbunuh akibat serangan Israel. Konser amal ini digagas oleh produser legendaris Brian Eno yang juga terkenal karena aktivisme kemanusiaannya.
Eno juga melibatkan musisi dan seniman Palestina dan non-Palestina dalam konser amal ini, seperti Paloma Faith, Nai Barghouti, Orkestra Arab London, dan band Inggris Gorillaz. Richard Gere, Riz Ahmed, Guz Khan, dokter Ghasan Abu-Sittah, penyintas Holokaus Stephen Kapos, dan lain-lain bergantian menyampaikan pesan.
Dana jutaan dollar AS yang terkumpul melalui konser ini akan didonasikan kepada organisasi-organisasi kemanusiaan di Palestina, seperti Palestine Medical Relief dan Taawon.
