Momen Polisi Peru Tembakkan Gas Air Mata saat Tindak Pengunjuk Rasa

JAKARTA, KOMPASTV - Gas air mata ditembakkan saat polisi menindak demonstran muda yang berunjuk rasa di ibu kota Peru.

Protes berujung bentrokan antara demonstran dan polisi, gas air mata, dan orang-orang berlarian di jalan, Sabtu (20/9/2025).

Ratusan anak muda, yang dimobilisasi oleh kelompok yang menamakan diri Generasi Z, berkumpul di alun-alun dan berhadapan dengan polisi saat mereka mencoba berbaris menuju istana pemerintah untuk menyampaikan tuntutan mereka.

Polisi anti huru hara menunggu pawai di balik barikade yang memblokir lalu lintas di jalan-jalan terdekat.

Para demonstran telah berorganisasi di media sosial dalam beberapa hari terakhir untuk menentang usulan reformasi pensiun dan menuntut upah dan kondisi kerja yang lebih baik.

Pawai ini juga mendapat dukungan dari serikat pekerja, aktivis lingkungan, dan kelompok aktivis lainnya.
