Mereka diberangkatkan dari Kantor Kemendagri menuju IPDN dengan menggunakan kereta cepat Whoosh.
Setibanya di kampus IPDN, para kepala daerah yang mengenakan seragam Komcad tersebut disambut oleh drumband praja IPDN.
Kepala daerah yang ikut dalam retreat gelombang kedua ini terdiri dari dua gubernur, tiga wakil gubernur dan wakil wali kota, 38 bupati, serta 37 wakil bupati.
