Usai Pemecatan Hasyim Asy'ari, Ini yang Akan Dilakukan KPU Jelang Pilkada 2024
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Pasca pemecatan Ketua KPU, Hasyim Asy'ari jajaran KPU saat ini fokus menangani pilkada serentak. August Mellaz komisioner KPU RI memastikan, bahwa tidak ada tahapan pemilu yang berubah dampak dari kasus Hasyim Asy'ari.Di hari ke 5 pasca pemecatan Hasyim Asy'ari di KPU, Keppresnya tak kunjung keluar. Berdasarkan PKPU, jabatan ketua KPU yang kosong dapat diisi oleh Plt. Jika belum ada ketua definitif maka posisi Plt Ketua KPU memiliki masa jabatan selama 3 bulan.
Keppres pemecatan Hasyim Asy'ari menjadi penting. Karena dengan keluarnya Keppres maka proses pemilihan Ketua KPU definitif dapat berjalan.
Dampaknya, ada sejumlah tahapan yang berpotensi mengalami gangguan. Diantaranya perjanjian dana hibah terkait anggaran pilkada di daerah. Namun komisioner KPU RI, August Mellaz memastikan bahwa pilkada akan berjalan sesuai dengan tahapan.
