Disponible jusqu'au 05/05/2030En Israël, le quotidien est marqué par l’État d’urgence. "Tracks East" rencontre une population obligée de composer avec les combats qui s’éternisent et prend le pouls d’une société en guerre.
Le journaliste David Issacharoff suit des femmes et des hommes prisonniers d’une situation sans issue. Près de Gaza, le kibboutz où vivait Shahar Dekel a été détruit lors du 7‑Octobre. Le photographe a perdu des amis, et bon nombre de ses proches sont à jamais traumatisés. Mobilisé pas moins de trois fois depuis, il documente la guerre par le biais de ses photographies en noir et blanc.
À deux pas de la frontière libanaise, il n’est pas rare que les explosions fassent trembler le sol du café de Nitzan Yulzari. Lui qui comptait émigrer au Portugal avec sa famille se retrouve aujourd’hui face à un dilemme. Dans un quotidien marqué par la guerre, son établissement est un lieu de sociabilité précieux pour les habitués, qui viennent y chercher un semblant de normalité.
Autre perspective avec Amal Ghawi. Sur les réseaux sociaux, la journaliste israélo-palestinienne dénonce discriminations et déplacements de populations, et déplore la polarisation du débat public. Rédigées à la fois en hébreu et en arabe, ses publications lui valent des attaques des deux camps.
