Die AfD feierte bei der Landtagswahl in Sachsen-Anhalt einen historischen Triumph – die absolute Mehrheit hat sie aber knapp verpasst. Spitzenkandidat Ulrich Siegmund will erster AfD-Ministerpräsident werden, doch die Regierungsbildung dürfte sich schwierig gestalten.Für die CDU ist das Ergebnis ein Debakel: Nur 17,2 % stimmten für die Partei von Ministerpräsident Sven Schulze. Doch auch für Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz ist das Ergebnis eine schwere Niederlage. Denn viele Wähler wollten der Bundesregierung offensichtlich einen Denkzettel verpassen. Erste SPD-Politiker und Sozialverbände fordern deshalb bereits eine Kurskorrektur und wollen Änderungen an den geplanten Reformen.
Wer wird Sachsen-Anhalt künftig regieren? Wie würde es Deutschland verändern, wenn die AfD Regierungsverantwortung übernimmt? Wie beschädigt ist Bundeskanzler Friedrich Merz durch die Wahlniederlage?
