Rumah seperti ini, menurut rencana, dibanderol sekitar seratus juta rupiah dengan cicilan Rp600.000 per bulan.Rumah subsidi dengan luas bangunan 14 meter ini lebih kecil dari ukuran rumah subsidi sebelumnya, yaitu 60 meter untuk luas tanah dan 36 meter persegi untuk luas bangunan.
Menteri Perumahan Rakyat dan Kawasan Permukiman, Maruarar Sirait, menyebut harga tanah di daerah dekat perkotaan semakin mahal. Karena itu, ukuran rumah subsidi diperkecil menjadi 14 dan 23 meter persegi agar tetap terjangkau.
Menurut Menteri Maruarar, rumah berukuran kecil tetap layak, asalkan tidak kumuh.
Lalu, apakah rumah subsidi Jabodetabek seluas 14 dan 23 meter persegi ini bisa jadi hunian yang tidak hanya terjangkau, tapi juga layak huni?
