In einer Pressekonferenz zum Prüfungsverfahren der Ermittlungen in der „Causa Pilnacek“ verortete Volksanwalt Christoph Luisser gravierende Fehler.

Wir haben es jetzt schwarz auf weiß, dass zu früh von einem Suizid ausgegangen wurde, daher mögliche Zeugen und Beweise ignoriert wurden und auch die Verletzungen nicht zum Anlass genommen worden sind, um den Auffindungsort auf organische Spuren genauer zu untersuchen. Warum der Baggerfahrer, der den Leichnam entdeckte, nicht befragt wurde, ist ebenso nebulos – immerhin war dieser schon fast zwei Stunden vor Ort! Besonders skandalös ist dazu noch, dass offenbar polizeiliche Ermittler aktiv versucht haben, eine Obduktion zu verhindern, und das Smartphone als zentrales Beweismittel nicht sichergestellt wurde, die Smartwatch hingegen aber schon. Das führt zur ganz elementaren Frage, warum so gehandelt wurde und was hier von wem in wessen Interesse vertuscht werden sollte? Im Untersuchungsausschuss werden wir all diesen Fragen nachgehen!
