Kemarahan Trump ini merespons Khamenei yang menyindir presiden AS tersebut.
Di mana dalam sebuah pidato pada Kamis (26/6) Khamenei menyebut trump melebih-lebihkan dampak serangan terhadap situs nuklir Iran.
Khamenei menyatakan kemenangan dalam perang dan juga mengecam AS usai kesepakatan gencatan senjata.
Khamenei juga mengaku siap untuk mengulangi pukulan yang diberikan Teheran kepada Pasukan AS di Timur Tengah.
Terkait itu, Trump melalui platform media sosial Truth pada Jumat menyebut Ayatollah Ali Khamenei tidak tahu terimakasih.
Trump mengklaim bahwa dirinya telah menyelamatkan Khamenei dari upaya pembunuhan Israel.
Ia mengaku mengetahui persis di mana Khamenei bersembunyi selama perang.
Trump mengklaim tidak mengizinkan tentara Israel dan AS membunuhnya.
Ia juga mengklaim telah memerintahkan Israel menghentikan peawat-pesawat tempur yang berencana melancarkan serangan besar-besaran ke Iran.
Trump kemudian memberikan peringatakan keras kepada para pemimpin Iran untuks kadar diri akan situasi negaranya.
Ia pun mengancam akan membombardir Iran lagi jika Teheran kembali melaksanakan program nuklirnya.
Tak hanya disitu, kemarahan Trump juga berimbas kepada rencana pencabutan sanksi terhadap Iran.
Trump menyatakan akan langsung menghentikan seluruh upaya keringanan sanks terhadap Iran.
Presiden AS itu juga mengkritik pernyataan Khamenei sebagai "terang-terangan dan bodoh".
