Returning to Nioh 3 which should now be the final push for all of the remaining bosses, alongside the final all bosses no damage compilation.

With regards to Marathon, I played for almost 15 hours purely in solo queue, along with the hours I put into the server slam, and I think that it's just not a game for me, which is fine. I don't enjoy the extraction shooter gameplay loop in the first place, and playing it only as a solo made it much less enjoyable imo, especially with how much slower and less consistent it is to progress.

While the UESC and PVE side of things are okay on their own, trying to have PVE fights is basically a big warning siren for every other player in the match. It's near impossible to consistently engage with the PVE aspect as a result, as it usually ends up with somebody else coming along to try and sneak up on you, often somebody invis or crouching around corners. The PVP side I don't enjoy either, but that's because I don't enjoy PVP games in general. Even so, most engagements usually are trying to catch players by surprise and crouch walking to avoid making sounds, and with the TTK being so low it makes every engagement quite risky. Trades feel pretty regular too. Exfil I've had quite a few times with somebody just camping and waiting to catch you out. As a result, to me it makes the game feel more like the best approach is to nearly always avoid trying to fight or make sounds, which isn't the most fun gameplay loop.

In groups I could see the appeal, progression and questing is much faster, PVP engagements are less of a 50-50 where the first to see the other win, and less about just trying to sneak around. But as somebody who likes to play solo, doesn't really enjoy PVP games anymore, and is purely focused on solo PVE content and guides, there's just not much to offer or enjoy for me.

Even from a content creation standpoint, while I like making helpful location guides, they take so much more time to record and get together due to the PVP aspect. Loads of times I went to record something, and even opening up the map I'd have someone kill me, or come across another player which means I have to restart the guide. Not great for efficiency sake. I gave it a go though, but it's just not for me going forward I think. Maybe people who like the genre enjoy these aspects though.

The plan is to cover Nioh 3 like I normally would for similar games, doing all bosses no damage and post them along the way. I'll post location guides if I feel they're helpful, but I'll be mostly be focusing on the boss fights. I'll be using a dodge focused approach instead of parrying where I can, as I enjoy the playstyle more, and I've always felt like it's more helpful to show how to handle the attacks reliably from a dodging perspective as a guide, instead of parrying at the right time which you cannot really learn from a video. I'll probably be focused more on Ninja style because of that. As this is my first Nioh game, I won't be too familiar with how the overall systems and gameplay works, so any feedback or tips is always welcomed. I'm looking forward to having a new game to play though.

After playing more, there are a lot of straightforward mini bosses or NPCs fights that count as "bosses" in the game. I was going to skip these and leave them for the final Nioh 3 All Bosses No Damage compilation, however I'll still be posting these individually purely as a location guide for people searching for individual bosses over time. Due to the nature of these fights being very easy, a lot of them will be quick fights where they don't take long at all, and are usually stunlocked throughout them (especially as humanoid fights are prone to being stunned by martial art chaining). Rather than trying to pick and choose which bosses are worth slowing down for, or a showcase each of their movesets for a fair fight, I think it's just better to blast through them and have those videos being purely focused for showing the map location at the end. The main bosses will make up for it anyway.
