El Hindenburg: La destrucción de los Zepelines
Era una de las máquinas voladoras más impresionantes jamás construidas. Un gigantesco dirigible capaz de cruzar el Atlántico transportando pasajeros con un lujo que parecía sacado del futuro. Pero el 6 de mayo de 1937, durante una maniobra de aterrizaje en Lakehurst, Estados Unidos, el Hindenburg comenzó a arder.En cuestión de segundos, aquel coloso alemán quedó envuelto en llamas delante de periodistas, cámaras y decenas de testigos.
En este vídeo repasamos la historia del LZ 129 Hindenburg, cómo era viajar dentro de uno de los mayores dirigibles construidos, por qué utilizaba hidrógeno, qué ocurrió durante sus últimos minutos de vuelo y cuáles son las principales explicaciones que se han propuesto para el incendio.
