Michela Ponzani non intende scusarsi con Ignazio La Russa dopo l’annuncio di querela per le sue dichiarazioni sul corteo del 12 aprile 1973 a Milano. Tornata a Otto e Mezzo, la storica difende la propria ricostruzione richiamando libri, cronache dell’epoca e documenti conservati all’Archivio centrale dello Stato. Precisa inoltre di non aver attribuito al presidente del Senato la responsabilità dell’omicidio dell’agente di polizia: “Ho detto che era presente a quella manifestazione”.“Gli storici nelle democrazie non hanno il compito di celebrare il potere”, afferma, rivendicando l’autonomia della ricerca e la propria professionalità.
